Our Story
From Humble Beginnings
Mama Cleans was founded by Sharneequa Tovo-Karauria, born and raised in the Horowhenua.
What started as a dream to create a job that worked around raising my family quickly grew into something much bigger. As opportunities arose, Mama Cleans expanded from a small residential cleaning business into a professional cleaning company with a dedicated team, servicing Horowhenua, Manawatū and Kāpiti.
Today, we provide commercial, residential, medical and end-of-tenancy cleaning, with a strong focus on quality, reliability and attention to detail.
Our reputation is incredibly important to us, which is why every member of the Mama Cleans team is carefully selected, police vetted and trained to meet the high standards we expect across every service we provide.

Our Policies
Clear, transparent guidelines so you know exactly what to expect from Mama Cleans Levin.
We understand that life happens. We kindly request at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Payment is due on the day of service, unless an ongoing commercial contract specifies otherwise. We accept direct bank transfers. Overdue invoices may be subject to a late fee.
If you are not home during the clean, we require a safe way to access the property (e.g., a hidden key or lockbox). Our staff are fully vetted, insured, and respect the utmost confidentiality and security of your premises.
We love pets! However, for their safety and the efficiency of our cleaners, we ask that aggressive or anxious pets be secured in a separate room or crate during our visit.
